Editorial Policy

This is the editorial policy of NameFreeFire, a Free Fire name generator and name library run by the NameFreeFire Editorial Team. It explains how we write lists, what a test means on this site and how we keep pages correct. We write only what we have done.

Who writes the pages

All guides and example lists are written by the NameFreeFire Editorial Team for this site. We do not copy lists from other sites. Read more on the about page.

How names and symbols are made

The generator turns your text into letters and symbols from Unicode. These are not real fonts. We choose symbols that are easy to read and avoid names that are offensive, adult or break a game’s rules.

What a test means here

A name or a symbol is called tested only if a person typed it into the game or app on a real device and wrote down three things: the date, the device and the game version. We then record one of three results: works, blocked, or shows as a box.

Current status

We have not recorded any in-game tests yet. Until we do, every list on this site is untested and we say so. We will not write that a name or symbol works in a game version unless a test is logged here.

Retests and corrections

Games change often. When a test is logged we plan to repeat it when a new game version comes out. If a page is wrong or out of date we correct it and change the date at the bottom of the page.

Frequently asked questions

Do you test every name in the game?

No. We have not recorded in-game tests yet, so lists are not marked as tested. We will say so on a page only when a real test was done.

How do you decide that a name or symbol works?

A test counts only if someone typed the name into the game or app on a real device and wrote down the date, the device and the game version. Until then the status is untested.

How can I report a wrong or outdated page?

Write to us on the contact page with the page address and what should change.
